Char Broil Quantum Infrared Urban Gas Grill design allows the greatest grilling versatility seen in years. Its cooking system completely climates flare ups. This 2 burner grill is highly efficient due to the unique patented infrared grates. The grill has smaller cooking area but get the job done in 2 burners only. Each burner has its own temperature gauge located above the control knob. The grill works at grate level for a true reading of the heat about to sear steak or whatever may be grilling. Char Broil Quantum Infrared design also allows to add wood chips directly on to the cooking grates for added flavor.

The grill is ideal for a wide range of cooking temperatures. This grill features 465 square inch cooking area; 340 square inch of primary cooking area, 125 square inch of secondary cooking area. It has “Surefire” electronic ignition system to make fire. The grill is a combination of stainless steel and painted steel appliance style cart construction with folding side shelves.

The Char-Broil Quantum Infrared Urban Gas Grill is so named because it features Char-Broil’s patented and award winning Quantum Infrared cooking system. This model has two burners, ample grilling space and an abundance of heat. Styled entirely in stainless steel, this unit presents a bright appearance.

The Quantum grill has several non-traditional features. The cooking grates consist of a panel of stainless steel rods, set upon a stainless steel screen. The stainless steel screen acts as a generator of radiant (infrared) heat to intensify the temperature within the cooking area. Although the sections disassemble (primarily for cleaning purposes), they are meant to be used together.

1. Purchase a quality wire grill brush for cleaning.

2. Leave the grill on high for 10 minutes after your take the food off to char any remaining food. It makes cleaning much easier.

3. Use some type of cooking spray or food will get stuck to the cooking surface.

4. Even though it is stainless steel a cover is a good idea. The charbroil cover can be put on while the grill is still hot.
